Google Maps "Street View" can be a useful tool.

To view a property in "Street View", click on the "Map Location" link to the right of the property description paragraph. A Google Map page will open, showing a property location marker. If a Google Street View is available, you can zoom in until it automatically changes to Street View and then use left/right to move around 360 degrees and up/down. Or, simply, drag the little "Orange Man Icon" from the "Map Navigation Tool Bar", over the map, to the property location marker. Then, drop him on the nearest "blue-outlined-street". You should see a "Street View" of the area, and you can click or drag your curser to turn the view 360 degrees along the street. Note: All streets do not have Street View available.
